Registration Moab Flute Camp
Flute Camp -- Camping-- Flute Workshop-- Echo Hunting-- Indian Taco Dinner-- River Concert
Beginning flute class- ( Saturday- morning ) participants will receive one beginner flute, one hour of instructions on how to play the Native American Flute, will receive one t-shirt, one poster, one CD, one flute bag. Limited to 20 people
Echo Hunting-( Saturday- afternoon ) After the workshop, participants will go on a short hike to find their own echo in a nearby sandstone canyon with natural acoustics
Indian Taco Dinner- ( Saturday - Night ) Participants will enjoy a Indian Taco meal Saturday Night
River Concert-( Sunday - Morning ) 9:00 AM, Will meet at Canyonlands by Night and Day https://canyonlandsbynight.com/ to board the worlds greatest floating stage. We travel up the river and find the perfect place to turn off the motor. Then magic happens as we float with the current of the mighty Colorado floating stage. The Canyon walls tower hundreds of feet above us to create an natural amphitheater over a mile and a half long while listening to a flute concert by Nino. Brief stories of history will be shared by local resident Evan Haworth. ( The River tickets may be purchased separately from the Flute Camp Package.) Boat limited to 80 people.
Suggested Items to bring-- bring own small tent or may want to share with few others in the tipi, bring own chairs, sleeping bag, hiking clothing- hiking boots, loose clothing, hat, sun screen, bug spray, cooking stoves, etc. most meals are on own. showers are available at camp site.
